Homebrew Wii U 240p ?

Hello, i wanted to know, since now the Wii U is hacked, can it output 240p for older games in homebrew like in RetroArch ? I know the Wii could using the scart cable and Retroarch, and it seems the official Wii scart RGB cable is compatible with the Wii U, that would make it the best retro machine ever !

We already have RetroArch on Wii U. No need to use vWii.
Also, vWii is locked in 480p [No way to change that for now?]

no it sint ... you can even use av cables on wiiu and that cant even output 480P only 480i.

It's blocked by software as far as i know. vWii limits video output to 480i/480p max and just upscales it to "1080"i which looks the same way as 480i/480p.

Atleast that's what my long research told me.

That's what i'm talking about, now that we have our on Retroarch U, would it be possible for it to output 240p ? If it's a software limit, could we bypass it now that the Wii U is hacked ? 240p would be absolutely awesome for those like me who play on CRT screens, it would make the Wii U the ultimate retro console !

That would be really nice, one thing that needs to happen is that the emulators are accurate ^^

+1 here... If the WiiU 480i minimum res is a software thing, unlocking 240p on it will make it the perfect retrogaming console

After years of tinkering has there been any inkling of a chance that 240p could be a enabled with a hack now in 2023?
