Hi Guys,

I have a 2 year old wii with a D2pro in it. It has been upgraded to the latest firmware and it is not working any more. I have not had a chance to do a softmod yet.

EB games has a promo right now which they give you a 150 credit towards a new black wii.

Should I do it? Can the new black wii still be able to add a chip or softmod?

thanks

you can softmod your current wii and install DARKCORP to use your same discs from the disc channel how you usually do and/or get a USB hard drive and get into usb loading.

blacks wiis cant read any disc backups so USB loading is a must.

i would use the credits for something else.

There is nothing wrong with my current WII, the only thing is I have had it for a few years. Since I upgraded the firmware to 4.2 my d2pro is not working so I need to softmod it.

Since the new black version can be softmod, for a additional 60 bucks I get a brand new wii...
