Hacking wii system menu ios question?

im using dopmii if i install thi ios for system menu 4.2 and patch it will it update me and give me sd and usb use im running 3.3v2

Just install IOS70 WITHOUT patching it, then install the System Menu.

srry i like spesifics so open dop and install 70 unpatched then the sys menu ios correct

You need to install both the IOS and the menu itself.

For 4.2, you need IOS70 and the 4.2 menu for your region.
For 4.1, you need IOS60 v6174 (NOT v6400), and the 4.1 menu for your region.

Use DOP-Mii to install IOS60 or IOS70, then install the system menu.

Also, it's up to you if you want to patch the IOS. If you plan to install WADs, you should patch it so they will run from the SD Card Menu.

@gameboy13: The SM IOS should pretty much always be patched, especially if he plans to use the SD menu with WADs. Why you say to not patch it is beyond me.

Try and redownload it again. You may just have a WAN glitch.

Are the errors just download errors, or installation errors (after download) - be more specific, and type whole words.

If it failed in downloading, it didn't install. Try installing IOS70 again.
