Today i tried to play MarioKart GP 1 and 2 on my wii - First i want to install tha quadforce wad with wad manager 1.5 - it gave me an ERROR Message, but then i managed to install it with WadManager 1.8 (unoffical).

As i tried to boot the games with DIOS MIOS Booter (DIOS MIOS Light was NOT installed), the Wii suddenly shuts down completely. :wtf:

I thougt: Maybe DIOS MIOS Light is missing, so i installed the latest version: This time, when i tried to boot the games, i got an green screen.

The wii console i was operating with, is surely not up to date with it's CIOS/IOS's... here's the syscheck log...

Use ModMii to update your outdated IOS's and cIOS's and other softmods.

I added a link to the sysCheck report I got using ModMii

Report

Edit: If this doesn't work, then you got a bad copy or ask someone else for further help.

Well, first of all, reinstalling DIOS MIOS overwrites quadforce, you can't have both installed at the same time.
It sounds like you may have bad/incorrect dumps. I had no problems getting it to work by doing the same things you did.

Thanks for your help!

First off, DiosMiosLite replaces QuadForce and visa versa so you'll need to put QuadForce back.

I guessed it is that way, so i put Quadforce back.

games should be on SD not USB
in DM-booter use old method in options (press B for this)

They are on SD, and i changed to "old" method - But sorry: This dosen't change anything.

I also followed the guide: I changed the ID's of the isos correctly, and also tried to formatted my SD (Sandisk Ultra II) to Fat32 / 32k Cluster, but: With Windows7 i can only format FAT to 32k Cluster. If i choose FAT32, i can only select 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 and 8192 bytes???

How can i formatt to FAT32 and 32k Cluster??? But i would be suprised if that's the problem... :glare:

Use ModMii to update your outdated IOS's and cIOS's and other softmods.

Can i use PimpmyWii instead? ModMii is a PC-Tool, isn't it?

FAT with 32k SHOULD work, too ... as should FAT32 with 8k (in which case it will just be slow loading)

Yeah, it's a PC tool that will download the WAD's you need to install with a WAD manager based on a syscheck log from your wii and will give you a customized guide to do it all.

good luck.

Prombelm solved.

No. And this was the only problem: Boot-Method has to be not "old", it has to be 2.0+ ;)
