Hacking wii sd cards

i have just softmoded a wii on 4.2 and could not make nand back up as when it was running run time files to sd card it just stoped got round it but had to softmodwith out boot me no good but only way is this a problem with 4.2 or is it mu sd card i have done softmodes with same sd card and installed bootmi fine but thay where older wiis my sd card is

2g micro sd with a sandisk adapter if it is the sd card what is the best sdcard reader and sd card to us for the wii
