Hacking Wii resets when loading GameCube backup discs

So I've been a Wii hacker for a couple years now, but I've never encountered this problem before. My backups used to work fine, until I moved my Wii (I was coming home from college). At first, no backups at all would work. I got Wii game backups to work, but the GameCube Backups continue to reset my Wii. I have the Wii hacked so that i can play the GC backups from the disc channel. I try to use that, and the Wii resets itself. I've tried NeoGamma as well, but when i do that, it loads the backup launcher, and then it freezes at, depending on the game, "waiting" or "launching game". I have let this sit for an obscenely long time, and it doesn't go any further. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps, i used this guide to re-hack my Wii after it wouldn't play any backups.

Moving the wii from one location to another wouldn't cause this problem.

I'm just givng all the information i can, because that's when the problems started. And by moving, i mean, unplugging, and leaving it unplugged for a couple hours, then setting it up in a new location.

Install a fresh copy of BC. You can get it on page 1 of ModMii's downloads, or using NUSD.

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what is "BC" exactly?

BC loads MIOS/cMIOS (which runs GC games) and slows down the Wii to play GC games at the correct speed.
