My wii mote turns off after i enter the BootMii in the homebrew channel. Can anyone fix this?

you have to use the power/reset buttons in order to navigate in bootmii if you are just trying to back up the nand then do power power power reset reset

See i dont know any of that i just want to back up my wii just incase i brick it or something but i cant get a wesite on how to back it up and what to do if i brick it. So i tryed entering BootMii but the control turns off is there a process im soppose to use before doing anything else?

yup your trying to do what i was talking about in the other reply just when your in bootmii press the power button 3 times and then the reset button twice and it will back up your wii to the sd card

im not 100% if this is correct but if you have priiloader then boot up the wii into priiloader then go to launch title and select home brew channel from that go to bootmii and go to the one that has the arrow going from the sd card to the wii but again i am not 100% sure if this is how its done hopefully someone else will reply and confirm or give the proper method

Yeah but how do yo boot up with Priiloader i have it instaled (atleast i think i do) but it starts normal.

just hold the reset button when you turn the wii on and if priiloader is installed it will launch and you can just navigate that with the d pad on the wiimote and a to select something like normal

yeah after the disc drive makes a sound then you can release the reset button and it should be at a white screen with different options

this happened to me quite a bit , but not in homebrew channel but in the wad installer it would always disconnect

My Wiimote shuts off too when I load an app I can navigate homebrew but just not the apps. I wanted homebrew on the Wiimode for my Wii U. So should it work the same if I do as u said?

As it says on the official site, you can use the power/reset buttons, or a gamecube controller. If your Wii is RVL-101, then you can only use power/reset buttons to navigate.
Also my Wii U doesn't hav a reset button.
Simple, you can't use bootmii on a Wii U:

"Also, due to technical limitations of the virtual Wii mode, BootMii will not work on a Wii U. If we are able to resolve this, we will make a new release with BootMii support."
