Hardware Wii Remote MIDI

I have recently bluetoothed by wiimote into my pc and mucked about with the mouse thing on GlovePIE a bit.
What I was wandering is if we could make the pc see wiimote as a MIDI instrument that may end up being like the theremin.

IIRC you can set different MIDI events and values for wii.remote actions in GlovePIE. I tried to use WiiRemote as wah pedal in guitar rig xD.
