My wii can't load any NTSC Gamecube discs! It reads and just plays the bgm, but the video doesn't show up! My wii games work fine, but gamecube games don't work! Can someone help me out on what to do? I'd hate to keep my Gamecube just to play gamecube gamees.

Anyone have this problem or a solution on how to fix this? Only the Backup Launcher can load up the games, I recently found out about this.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Have gamecube games ever worked on your wii?
Yes, and I figured out the problem. When I installed Starfall, I installed a Region Free GCN with video patch(the problem), the video patch cut the video of my region.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
