Hi,

I have 4.1E systemsoftware and preloader 0.29 with 4.1 hacks.ini

When i turn off the Wii in standby [orange light] he is still making a lot off noise...
The disc is spinning and spinning, when i eject the disc, the noise is gone...
Before 4.1e i'v never had this.

Does someone have a solution besides eject the disc every time?

But in the changelog says:

-fixed a bug which let the disc endlessly spin when wc24 was enabled and the wii got turned off

and i have 0.29 so why its still a problem for me?

its a know problem in 0.29, its not just happening to you. You can set Preloading to bypass standby mode, so that every time to you press the power button on the mote it will switch off (red light)

That was for the 0.29 that was released for the 4.0 menu. That changes when the system is updated to 4.1 and maybe the bug is back

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
