Hardware Wii Hardmodded with high DRE issues

Ok, i have a dayone PAL Wii with a dms d2a drive, hardmodded with Wiikey v1.
Some days ago i tried to load the retail disc (Dual layer) of SSB Brawl, and the disc channel can't load the disc.
My other retail games (single layer) work fine, but the Wii is unable to read all except one of my Wii backups (single layer), only GC backups and GC backup multigame discs.

So i tried to clean the lenses after opening my Wii, but the result is the same:

• Retail DL games: NO
• Retail Single Layer games: YES
• Wii Backups: NO (except one)
• GC Backups 1:1: YES
• GC Backups multigame disc: YES.

What are your suggestions? I haven't used wii backups or discs since Waninkoko's first usb loader that is from 6-7 years ago, i know that right now the drive is useless but i literally love my Wii and this thing is drving me crazy, this is also a Wii dvd drive that is able too to read DVD-Videos (even if i used this feature only 4-5 times).

Idon't want to change the drive because i think that old drives like this are now expensive, and the newer ones miss these features.

• Can i just change the lens instead of the drive right?
• There are different kinds of lenses that pair the kind of drive?
• Where i can buy a new lens for a cheap price?

Thank you, i adjusted the pot of my Gamecube more than 10 years ago and still works, i will try with Wii.

About a replacement lens: there's no issues about different models of the drive?

That I don't know. I don't have to replace one...yet.
Some one from a repair shop should have known better.
