I'm using CFG USB Loader (I've tried WiiFlow, same results came from both of them) via an SD card. I know the SD card is fine, since I can load up Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort (not the bundle) with no issue. Some games (such as Wii Party and Kirby: Return to Dream Land) have the freeze/crash/whatever you call it after it says the Wii Remote warning screen (don't stand too close to other things) and one more in-game screen (if it has one).

I know it's not the SD card (it's fat32 and has been formatted multiple times, along with repartitioned multiple times), cIOS installation (I've checked 2-4 times that it's correct), USBLoader/WiiFlow (both had the exact same results), or the games themselves (Wii Party and Kirby: Return to Dream Land work on Dolphin), since Wii Sports and Sports Resort work just fine while Wii Party (and too many others) just don't.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before on this site but I couldn't find anything anywhere, nothing's working and I just want to play Wii games again (I ripped them from my own games, the disk slot isn't working).

Edit: I switched over to a USB flash drive, and it's still not loading (doing the exact same thing, too).

Yea, it's not recommended to use the sd to store or play wii games from it, as not all of them will work without issues. Without mentioning the slow read speed in comparison to usb (or better external hdd), and wear & tear on the sd card reader itself..

Anyway, post a syscheck as mentioned.
Also make sure to check the files of your games (wbfs or iso) in WiiBackupmanager, the hash verification check is under tools.

I had to use a different cIOS to get Kirby working. Apparently the game uses some weird anti piracy. I think base 57 was the one that worked for me, base 56 would not boot. That should always be the first thing you try when a game is not working.

You're missing Priiloader, other than that, it's good.

I don't think that was it; I installed Priiloader & saved the hack settings they told me to save, and it's still doing the exact same thing

If you want actual brick protection install BootMii.
Correction: If you want actual brick protection install BootMii@boot2
but all Wii produced after 2009 has boot2 patched and you can't install BootMii@boot2. That's when priiloader comes in its place. Well, not really, priiloader is weak compared to BootMii@boot2 but still better than no protection at all.
Or you may prefer to avoid all the hassles as 2nd hand Wii are so cheap these days (still...)

SD/USB cards fail more easily than an external HDD. If you're not willing to pay for an external HDD, buy an internal 2.5" HDD (for laptop) and a case for it, include a 'Y' USB cable and you're set.
