I wanted to play a game without using usb loader anymore since my usb is broken. So I go to the disc channel and press start, after that it gaves an error. Some work like Wii Sports and Mario Party 8. Most of the games got an error starting the game. So I used NeoGamma instead to start the game. And it works with NeoGamma. What is the issue? Region problem?

My guess is you have cIOSCORP/DARKCORP/IOS forced using Priiloader and the games you want to play aren't playing nice with it.

NeoGamma is extremely outdated by today's standards for Wii modding. Games not working is most likely region locking but you can fix that with Priiloader y'know. Glad i could help :)

Could be you're missing the stock ios required to launch the game, but neogamma is working because it's using cios249. U could enable the priiloader hack/setting to use IOS249 for the disk channel, and it would probably yield similar results to neogamma.

U could also check to make sure all your ios's are up to date, so that when the stock ios is being called it's there to answer

Just drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do

And as previously implied neogamma is a bit dated, try another usb loader. Again, modmii is your friend when it comes to setting up all this stuff

I don't use usb to load games from usb. I use a fresh copied game disc. I thought enabling all games to run IOS249 can damage my wii and became useless so actually it helps so I'm gonna enable it soon.

Again, modmii is your friend when it comes to setting up all this stuff
enabled that setting including Region FREE Everything option some games work and some display an error 002. right now, the disc channel wont read all of my discs i had.

Just confirming, u want to play backup disks from the disk channel (even though this is generally not recommended)?

Your system menu IOS' are patched, I'm guessing from a ModMii install done by importing the syscheck into ModMii? Shouldn't cause any issues though.
Other IOS look fine.
You are forcing the IOS with Priiloader though which essentially does the same thing as cIOSCORP/DARKCORP (but less invasive)

As for the question in the OP - I've done this before and I can't recommend it. Some games are just not compatible with launching from the disc channel like this and worse is, even legitimate copies of those games will not work anymore since they are still being forced to run with cIOS.
I had my brother's Wii set up this way until he complained he couldn't play Skyward Sword (I guess it's due to the Motion Plus support, all games with Motion Plus needed special support in cIOS and USB loaders to block IOS reloading). They don't work with the Backup Loader channel either (the one that just loads a backup disc automatically on start)
However, in my experience most games should work, so it's strange that they don't for you. Still, it's not a good method, so you're better off installing a forwarder for NeoGamma and just using that.

Lol just noticed "Beer Ticket" on IOS236. Never noticed that before.

The System Menu IOSs that are v16174 were likely gotten from an older version of ModMii and should be fine, but his IOS50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 are definitely not from ModMii.

IIRC the beer ticket happens when u dump an IOS to a WAD from a nand dump using showmiiwads; a beer ticket gets added, I'm pretty sure it's meaningless.

Ah. I thought it was specific to IOS236. Good to know.
