- support directory conventions for wbfs files export like GAMEID_DIRECOTRY AND DIRECTORY [GAMEID] ...
- support directoryname characters like Wii Backup Manager
Support all characters in directory name that valid (like windows naming convention).pccfatman said:Could you please explain what you mean by 'directoryname characters'

I will use the wbfs_file.exe via command line now to transfer the files ...

if i rip an iso with the (command -z) it from the iso on the computer to a folder on my comp that i use to back them up on sparsed then rip it to my wii drive with (command -z) it works fine
but if i do the same but rip with (commands -g -z) it goes to my folder that i use for backups but then if i want to rip it to the wii drive i have to rip it (commands -g -z) again if i dont put the -g command it i get aCode:malloc fst :no error
and then when loading it up through wii game manager 1.5.01 it receives an error with that file
so how to i rip only the game partition but not get that error
Is your loader set to use the titles.txt?drcrappants said:ok this works on pc but not on laptop. weird. anyways what do "download titles.txt" and the xml do?
im going to guess the xml has info on the game and such which im not interested in. however i would like the names to be better. i downloaded the titles thinking it would autoupdate the game titles but they dont. how would i go about doing this?

Once titles.txt is downloaded you just need to load your games into the list. It should automatically display them correctly. This does not rename your files only display them with the values in titles.txt. It will use these values when extracting/converting files tho

GX doesn't support it anymore I believe. It uses the wiitdb.zip instead (which contains the XML it probably talks about)
This program uses both. Titles.txt for the titles and wiitdb.xml for the game info.

edit oop forgot to tick the recursive subdirectories
few other problems requests etc
how do i copy an iso from my hard drive (sparsed) to my wii hard drive as an iso still(sparsed) i can only see create wbfs, create wbfs with directories, add to wbfs partition
will this sparse the iso file when transferring from an iso to iso or wbfs to iso?
could u make it so if you move or copy an iso it uses this option so its sparsed
-z : make zero filled blocks as sparse when scrubbing

will this have the same trouble if i use the game only option in this program ??
i hope i havent confused you seems this is more for wbfs files than using iso atm unless i have overlooked the options i need

If i use the renaming script from cfg loader, i am not able to load my wbfs dir in WGM because it says there are illegal characters in one of the directory names.

You can tell the program to download HQ covers via the options menuChrnosclock said:Wow, this prog is great! It's the first tool that helps me and my offline wii to collect all the missing cover. Only thing what is missing is a HQ cover download. Will it be added in future?
drcrappants said:ok so i take the updated titles.txt and put it in a directory and set the path in usb loader gx to it, then it will rename all the stuff (or simply display them on the wii, or on the pc)?
