Wii Duplicated Channel Remover 1.1 (Multiregion version)

This application removes the duplicated channels installed after upgrading the Wii with a JAP or USA game.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: DON'T TRY TO UPDATE YOUR WII AFTER USE THIS APPLICATION. THE NEW IOS37 + UPDATED SYSTEM MENU CAN BRICK YOUR WII.

    Note:
IMPORTANT NOTE: USE THE SPECIFIC VERSION FOR YOUR WII!!

I don't take any responsability if your Wii gets damaged.

    Greetings.

That's pretty cool, but where's the download link? Did you make this yourself?

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

This is great news. Now to wait for/figure out how to make it work the other way around with US/JP Wii's. If it can be done with PAL, it should be able to work with others.

Best program ever made!! Made by my mate Waninkoko [IMG]

I already tested and it took out my Dupe channels [IMG]

Waninkoko is the man! He is the one doing most of the Homebrew work on the Wii... He discovered Region Free with another guy, made so many programs, now working on a program better than Trucha [IMG]

Wii Duplicated Channel Remover is awesome guys ehehe

Mate thank you for letting me test and be part of the project [IMG]

WHAT?!!!!!!!!!! I don't really know how could happen. The duplicated channels are independent channels and they don't have any relation with the real ones (even the title id is different).

Obvious question: Do you plan on making versions for the other 2 regions?

    Yes.

In USA/JAP consoles exist duplicated PAL channels?

    @ chuckstudios,

    Love your spoiler, LMFAO!! [IMG]

Now, I have to figure out how to use the twilight hack. Know it exists, but till now never had a reason to investigate.

    Anyway cheers [IMG] to waninkoko

Would it be possible to explain some of the technical details? I know it's easy enough to delete files/directories in the flash memory if you have sufficient knowledge, but I'm a little bit wary because of this:
So an explanation of exactly what this does would be very nice (up to you though).

PS. Homebrew file manager anyone [IMG]?

Not for me. Just some dupe JP channels on my US Wii. But you could make it the same like you did with this PAL version, right? As in:

Version for US - Removes PAL/JP channels
Version for JP - Removes US/PAL channels

More people tested my app and it works correctly. It's safe to use it.
