Hacking Wii backup loader......looks real!

This looks to be an ISO loader, but not a backup loader.

It's pretty cool none the less.

I assume being an ISO loader would be off said harddrive/networked thingymabob and the backup being a burnt disc? Did i get that right?

An ISO loader would be running the disc image from somewhere other than the disc drive, I believe. Such as USB.

If you watched the video since it was run off a DVD. I think linkinworm ran the homebrew over a network probably using WiiLoad.

You're saying if I dont have a modchip, I cant use the backup Loader. (Or multidisc loader)

I'm sure it was a disc, well it was for WiiChess, not sure about Galaxy...
I think it is a backup loader, I saw him using a disc, he just used wii load to use the hombrew.
Also, wouldnt cutting empty space of an ISO get rid of space, not add it?

Theres been a bit of confusion due to Waninkoko running two projects at once and me posting some info.

One is the backup loader, which doesn't require a mod chip

One is the multi disc loader which does require a chip.

My guessing is that it will be using scrubbed .ISO images so you can squeeze them on.
