Hacking Wii 4.2E can't read retail or backup DVDs

Will it read any GC games (real or burned)?

Haven't tried but I will test that as well.

Don't have a cleaner to hand to try that.

There are about 30 odd Wii games (combination of backup and retail, PAL and NTSC) have been tried now and none of them work.

Haven't reapplied the hacks via ModMii yet though.

How many original PAL games do you have though? Those are the only ones that could work right now.

If you want to try cleaning your lens, don't take your Wii apart and try rubbing alcohol. You could end up breaking something pretty easily. Instead, order one of these.
