Lol, this game is bad, even as a sonic standard.

Poor sonic... Sega's sonic team is so terrible at making sonic games nowadays...

With the exception of Sonic rush and rush adventure, all of them are crap...

Does this have online play ?

Yes, it does

You'll notice at the top, left corner of the game box shot it has the blue WiFi logo

No, this just says that the game has a Wi-Fi connection.
WiFi connection doesn't mean online play for most games, this is just one of those many games that only have online highscores (you should know that if you'd have one of SEGA's previous games like Ghost Squad, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Nights JoD)

I can confirm the the crash doesn't happen anymore. My guess was that the first one was dumped with the sd gecko. This one was probably dumped with the usb gecko. The sd gecko breaks the dump into parts, which when joined, might affect something (in this case, the intro vid).

Release # 495 ("Sonic Riders Zero Gravity") was never properly nuked. Originally, release # 495 was a bad dump of Sonic Riders by the release group, "xxx". For some reason, the page was edited to show the information from release # 567, a "PROPER" release by WiiFi. It should have been properly nuked, so that those who have downloaded the old release will see that it was nuked for being a bad dump and find useful information about working around the problem. In the bad dump released by xxx, the intro video freezes every time and cannot be skipped without having a GameCube controller connected (!).

Release # 567 was a "PROPER" release from WiiFi. For some reason, the page for xxx release # 495 was updated with information from release # 567 instead of being properly nuked and kept in the database. Now both releases, # 495 and # 567 show the same release information and appear to be duplicate entries in the database. I was only able to tell which release was the "xxx" release by reading the thread comments.

Release # 495 needs to have the old release information re-entered and nuked properly.

Other releases from "xxx" would also freeze during videos, such as One.Piece.Unlimited.Adventure-USA-WII ("xxx-opa"). This seems to indicate that the "xxx" release group was producing bad dumps. A "PROPER" release for One Piece Unlimited Adventure was apparently never released to the scene.
