if you're going to go out and buy a mic why not just buy the damn game...

Because a Mic is $15-$20 and can be used for other stuff and the game is $60 and sounds like it might suck.

Exactly...

$14.99 if this does indeed work...

This does not look like my kind of game but, if I get one of my friends trashed enough to try it could be fun...

This game is awful, and I love rhythm games.

The gameplay is too monotonous, it doesn't change at all throughout an entire song. It's like jamming out to a metronome. In fact, the Wiimote is a metronome, click click click click click.

The only difference songs make is if the clicks go slower or faster. This is horribly dull.

I gotta agree its terrible. You just wave the wiimote up, down, left or right randomly to the clicks. There are several styles and special moves to pull off but again to the same dull clickety clicks.

I don't have a USB mic but the game asks specifically for a Logitech USB mic for the singing bits. I guess the Wii update it does initially might be driver related to match generic Logitech hardware.

Perfectly!

But I didn´t like the game.....

PS: I think the "Singstar Microphones" (ps2) will not work, because they are completely different from Logitech one....

Awesome, thanks.

Hopefully I can find one locally for cheap. That way, if the game REALLY sucks, I can return it.

Which other games does it work with? PS2 Singstar or Karaoke Revolution? Singstar, right? How are those?

The singstar microphone is completely different from Logitech mic. On singstar microphone, you have 2 (two) mics to each usb conector. So, at ps2, you cannot play Karaoke Revolution with singstar mics, or Singstar with Logitech mics.
I have the Logitech mic and I cannot play Singstar games with it.

One more information: On ps2, I THINK japanese mics are different. Because I cannot play Japanese Karaoke Revolutions with the Logitech mic (from USA).

I have tested Boogie with Logitech american mics. And worked perfectly. But I dont known if Singstar mics or japanese mics will work.

Yep.

Singstar only works with Singstar mics, can't use Singstar mics on anything else (shame because they're good quality mics)

Karaoke Revolution (Japan) you have to use the official Konami mics (shame because they're very expensive!)

Karaoke Revolution (US), Karaoke Stage (Europe) and X-Factor (Europe) all work a logitech USB microphone or headset, and not tested personally but I think I'm right in saying most generic USB mics will work?

So has anyone got any comments on Boogie? Is it even worth a download lol?
