Before I order a flashcard, I want to know wich one is better. The two I am interested in right now are M3 real and R4 DS. Wich one is better and do both support download and play and wi-fi?

I have to say that Top Toys caught my eye. Sounds pretty good, as does the Cyclo, M3 Real and the AceKard RPG. If you want SDHC support though, don't buy the R4 yet, get one of the other three I mentioned.

Wait with me, and let's see what it has to offer.

You're buying a Cyclo for the SDHC, correct? The TT has SDHC support, and it's half the price of a CycloDS.

@Golden: Why exactly do you think the Acekard RPG is such a great cart? I'd much rather have a G6 or M3 Real.

I'm using N-card and so far with the latest firmware it plays almost all the ROM fine.

Tales of Innocence can't though, the intro works fine, but the game just freezes after I start a new game though the music keeps playing, the game time just stops. Anyone has a save file not long after the first scene? Maybe I can get through the freeze by loading the save game... And is the .SAV file the same with R4 or MK3?

Can I throw another contender into the fore... Everyone is avoiding the DS One.. It is the only cart with functional real time save, as well as real time guide, real time cheats, full compatibility, download play, SDHC etc.. With a fast mem stick such as Japan made Kingston its perfect and very configurable.. If cheating isn't your thing You cant beat an N-Card clone for price/gameplay no slowdowns and cheap as chips from places like dealextreme as long as you don't mind waiting a while for delivery

Check your other post. Somebody told you have to fix it.

And Ncard FTW!
Cheap(Very) and all brands and clones work better than any MicroSD based Flashcart.

I was going to buy a Cyclo for the good features, and because my R4 is dying and is boring now. But now, I'm going to get an M3 Real and get the Cyclo later, way later. The R4 will be a backup.

Top Toys also has an Expansion pack sort of thing, so that's a bonus.

Unless that's another card I'm thinking about.

Thanks guys for the replies. I decided to go with M3 real since it supports SDHC and comes with a slot 2 as a bundle for a decent price, (got it for $45

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
