I have some experience getting emulators, roms, jailbraking my iPhones and iPods, things like that. So when I got my new 3ds xl and my r4 card came up missing (I lost it in my room and I've looked EVERYWHERE in that abyss. I think it's safe to say Gort has my r4 card) I thought "hey self! Why not just home brew?! no aditional game cartridges to lug around!!" So fine, I felt I was confident enough to do this. Did some research, got familiar with the tools I'd be using then set to work. Installed everything with option one: -Startup folder to root of SD -otherapp.bin -Soundhax.m4a woot! I was ready, turned on the system, went to play soundhax and get a white box that simply said "could not play"... damn! I was crushed!!! So I looked at some trouble shooting. Step one: try moving the files from the Startup folder to the root=same result Step two: put them back in the file and drop the .bin=same result Step three: pull them back out of the file still no .bin=same result Step four: Come here for any additional help. Step five: replace r4 card and not lose it this time.
