Hacking Why does people like to spread bulls***?

Well, I had a discussion with certain people at a Facebook group, and guez, man, that was the most shity page I ever entered.

Is about 3DS/WiiU scene information, in spanish and is aimed to the Latinoamerican people.

Recently I joined them in hope to share nice info and help others. What I got?

A bunch of stupid people claiming that some of us don't know nothing and that we were stupid.

It all started with the new method to get cias from the eShop, everyone is freaked about for bans, claiming baselessly that Nintendo WILL ban the shit out of you for using such thing.
If that were true, Nintendo had banned us since the day we started to use pirated .cias.

Another thing was people bashing the work of the devs for their tools because of bricks; they only did bad procedures, the programs are not bad.

My point to post this info here is that the admin of that certain 3DS/WiiU scene for latinoamerica, is a member of this forum, and should feel bad for allowing such shity people there.

I know this seems to be only a drama, but I dislike a lot people who puts at shame the hard work of the scene devs, such as the CFW developers, tools and recently @cearp for his latest contribution, wich became very popular in only two days (though it was available since two years ago if I'm not mistaken).

That kind of attitude is becoming like a cancer on many groups, and the only place where I feel safe is here, so I'm truly very thankfull to GBATemp.


So, that's my point, I hope o rewrite this later but without crying lel (intended joke from those groups).

I left the group and I hope they drown with their own bullshi**.

TL;DR: People outside of gbatemp likes to bash people who know their shit, and the developers. The state of the scene in another places non-english-speaking is complete shit.

read reddit, read 4chan, many silly people.
i checked the network tab on my github and could see where some traffic was coming from.
i read some page on 4chan, people saying like, oh yeah cearp is always starting shi*... (i could only lol!)
negative comments about some work... it's just ridiculous, if people are scared of bans or think a tool is a bad idea, please don't use it!
there was a guy saying like CIAngel is not new, but i thought, actually, this is the first tool for a games console that lets you pirate ON the device, right - that seems pretty new to me!
think about how much content comes from gbatemp... for the 3ds, maybe the majority is posted first here right?
that is why i am only really active on gbatemp because here it is pretty friendly i sometimes take a look at other gaming websites, like gamefaqs, and wow so much junk on there... people are not nice from what i see.

Exactly this is what I'm talking about . People are scared, but in the midle of that fear they can't think anything that makes sense, and when one comes with the real and right info (comming form here, GBATemp always #1 for reliable info and source) they bash you with their "solid argumnts" (always being nonsense).

Basically, I've had many real life arguments on the 3DS - starting with how Nintendo will ban people with CIAS. Ummm..how about no?

Personally, I won't use funkycias/ciangel because I have crappy wifi speeds and I refuse to use it when I have a computer in front of me with a wired connection. It's a great innovation although - having a system to pirate right on the 3DS?

I've seen people bashing tools and software developed by great people. Hell, my friend ended up bricking his N3DS because he didn't read (turned off wifi!), and he ended up bashing the software and the writer of it. Guess what? The problem was not on the software, it was an USER ERROR. That lead to an eye roll from me because I wanted slap him across the head for trying to discourage more people from using it.

Guess what I'm saying is that people usually look to assign blame to anything else other than THEMSELVES.

User Error is like 99% the fault of people bricking, its apparently difficult to follow steps with guided instructions.

That's the first glance of ignorance, oposite to the first of wisdom that is to accept your own mistakes and take responibility, it's basic. It's so amazing that at this era there are still people that can't adopt that kind of thought.
