whats that? lol, my download speed is pretty decent even if the file host site restrict it to hell

(DTK, FunkeyCIA, CIAngel, LuCIAfer, plaicdn - mostly the same, with seperate uses - plai is the first and old, Funkey is improved, DTK is mostly noobproof, CIAngel and LuCIAfer do it on the 3DS itself) are software that use title keys (nfshost site has keys) and download straight from Nintendo's servers.

ive read you need the title id and decrypted title keys to do that (at least on ciangel) but what i dont know is if thats all you need or if you need to do extra stuff on your 3ds or get other files on it...

the "nfshost" 3DS title key database has the keys you need. That's all you need to download the CIAs.

Another note, some tools takes encrypted title keys, and some take decrypted keys. It won't work (AFAIK) if you use the wrong keys.

I think I know the group you are talking about, I joined when the group just was funded, it wasn't cancerigenous back then, but there was a lot of worshiping towards some spanish youtubers (specially one who is known for stealing stuff from the scene and stamp his name in the tools, his tutorial doesn't make you install bootctrmanager, it makes you install the yakarea boot menu), eventually I left and joined a much nicer group.

Actually one guy came from there a week ago claiming he was flamed to hell for asking the official release of something instead of using some prepacked zip of some Luis guy.

Makes me wanna join that group and start shit there hahaha.

No offense but although he changes the names its just for gags, he always leaves a post with all the devs and original tools and encourages to use the original ones if you know how to do it.

Yakara king of the poorly informed noobs, that's him, he's well known for putting his name on the tools, and even gets donations for that, and his "team" who receives a dolar for each info they give (I could be wrong).

EDIT: rikumax25! is right, he credits all the devs and says that he's not the creator, just saw that on his latest video.

yeah it stills bugs me at the end how people with well intended reasons can be turned down just because of a little detail.

That's why I call him the king of noobs. Well, Is a well known matter that putting your name on something that isn't originaly yours and make it public, you run the risk of being discovered/bashed/hated.

That something that happened no too long ago her on GBATemp, but instead of it ending on bad decision it came to bring good things, in form of good homebrew.
