I know this has been asked over and over again but bear with me I can't find the documentation and explanation thread it's buried among many others.

So i would like to know. When i enable the autorcm features my switch loses battery by roughly 25-30 faster. At a much faster pace than with no auto RCM enabled.

As i recall from last year's I'd get a additional of ~1hr±30 minutes of battery life without it being enabled.

I keep an usb loader at all times in my pocket so not having access to a PC isn't going to be much of an issue for me but anyways I'd like to confirm

Does AutoRCM damage the battery on the long run?
Should i just keep it disabled?

Again, that's only half of what I asked. You could easily have something else enabled in the background draining the battery because I have AutoRCM enabled and my console is fine in sleep mode so AutoRCM cannot be the culprit.

Hey
I put insulting tape on a ribbon cable so that it won't make contact with the battery and short circuit.
It's the left joycons ribbon cable if that helps
Does insulating tape have any impact on the battery?
