Why do some VC titles require eshop repair? Any way around it?

Is this because there is no way to dump it 100% at this time? I have a bunch of DLC that will get deleted if I go into eshop, id like to not have to do that.

Also while we are on the subject, Ive seen some "cryptofixed" versions, what exactly does that mean? Whats changed and what are the implications?

Cryptofix is for running games below the required firmware, like playing 9.6+ games on 9.2 emunand.
Why not just unlink your nands?

They are unlinked. its just for example to play Pokemon VC releases you gotta go to eshop and repair them once you install them. I guess installing cryptofixed ones avoid that?

It doesnt matter if Nand/Emunand are linked or not, when going to eshop DLC you didnt buy gets deleted (all my stuff is in emunand, I dont switch between the 2).

Hmmm, seemed fine for me with my SSB4 DLC and repairing Pokemon Yellow.
    Strange

More overall question is why do we have to repair in the first place? This is a new thing. is this because we can no longer dump 100% of t he game?
