why are my temps sp high after a delid

had my ps3 DELIDDED and repasted on both the die and ihs with arctic mx-4 thermal paste. the guy who delided my chips chose not to reglue the ihs down so as to make it easier for me in the future if i ever need to redo the paste temps on the xmb are
CPU is at 62c currently and RSX at 69c with 40% fan
any idea why the RSX temps are so high at 40% fan speed? i know the CELL cpu runs hot but i thought with a delid the rsx temps would go down

was expecting RSX temps to be lower after a delid at 40% fan speed

guess i was expecting temps to be lower also these temps are via webman mod while sitting at the start menu screen for the last of us

these temps are after 35 mins of sitting at the start menu

deliding is mostly a fad from where I sit but that is also a lot of thermal paste.

i'm using thermal pad for ps2, and my slim ps3 works fine playing for 5 hour RSX 63 CPU 60 without fan mod

Not sure from the pics, but did the guy get the old silicone off the Cell properly before putting the IHS back on?

Looks like the thermal glue hasn’t been cleaned from the RAM chips on the RSX either, or they just have way too much paste on?

I would fix the above two and see if that helps as the paste on the dies looks like it might not have had enough pressure from the heatsink, maybe try and bend the clamps back SLIGHTLY too
