Gaming Why are my digital games are telling me the card is removed?

It's happening to Corpse Party and Cave Story 3D. Any thoughts on why it happend, how to fix it, ect?

This error also occurs when the SD Card where your games are on gets removed.
So check your SD Card and SD Card slot.

If this happens in game (and with all games): probably connection issues.

If some game(s) cannot start because of "card removed"-error right away and maybe don't even have a banner on the upper screen:
* Bad SD (defective and/or fake)
* file system corruption → backup data, reformat, restore
* missing/corrupted app file for the game(s) in question

Reinstalling a CIA file in case of missing/corrupted app file should solve the problem… BUT (!) Reinstalling a CIA will overwrite the save data → backup save data BEFORE doing this.

It isnt a bad card, but it might be the cia, and no, the banners are not up top. Thank you though, and I'll check it out! )

Update: both the games are these question marks and my 3DS will not allow me to uninstall them. Trying to do so just ends in an error message saying that the game couldn't be deleted.
