Hacking White screen when cheats are turned on.

I am currently using an Acekard 2i and have Akaio 1.5, the Games work fine when cheats are off, though when I turn them on, the game just goes to a white screen. Before the whole 1.3 DSi update I could cheat like no Tomorrow, though now I can't. Makes me quite sad. Etrian Odyssey is hard =/
