Ah, this topic came at a perfect time. I'm in the market for a new phone as well. I was thinking about, in order, HTC Desire, HTC Legend, Nexus One.

NOTE: HTC Desire does NOT support the 3G frequencies in North America. That isn't too much of a problem for me because Rogers (yay... Canada) charges way too much for a data plan and everywhere I go there is WiFi.

I looked at a Motorola Milestone/Droid for a second and liked it... but I've burned by Motorola before (Lousy C331, bought it when I was young and more stupid). I also read that the camera is quite slow. I was a fan of the keyboard.

In the end, I'll probably just get what is best price/value package I can wheel and/or deal in Hong Kong.

Simple - the one that's announced as you're on your way home with whatever you thought was the best when you went to buy it.

The good stuff is always out tomorrow.

HTC HD ftw, Waiting for the HD3. That one's gonna be a beast.

1,5GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon
1GB of RAM
1GB of ROM
16GB Internal Memory
8MP Camera
4G Ready
HDMI-out (YEAH!)
1080p support
W7 Phone Series

Well. This thing will pratically blow the iPhone out the water.

Only drawback is that Windows Mobile 7 does not support multitasking. It seems that Microsoft has gotten into the "do one thing at a time" bullshit.

I'm pretty sure that will change now that Apple is going to release iPhoneOS 4.0.

I want a Nokia N900 too and I hope it's in canada this year.

buying online is risky but the one i gave is a reference website so no need to worry.

I'll check my sources for canadian availability

let's hopeful that Canada will have one. Nokia Philippines suddenly got the Nokia N900 without warning so I hope it's the same.

You could get the N97 but hopefully, you're careful at things because this has a tilting screen. I have a N97 and it's not yet broken. it do have software issues but overall, I love it

Been looking at phones recently too. Thinking of getting a Sony X10 since it's a good price if bought with Rogers in Canada.
Though I want the EVO 4G more, it's probably not coming out for a while..and not to Rogers, so no discounted prices for me.
