yeah, gameplay is the same, just added new set of pokemon from the previous PMD didn't had..

i dunno i guess when i tried the first ones i wasn't in the right mood or something. plus i love the clefairy's ( i realize that thats the wrong one but i can remember the proper name) personality. so funny

As far as I am into it,the whole game can be played entirely without touching the bottom screen. Identifying pokemon may be easier with stylus, but that's about it. (DW, this isn't a spoiler. It's about 10 minutes in.)
