I used to use emuconnies lists for stuff as (pocketheaven numbering and no-intro crcs) but they seem to have been discontinued the one I used anyhow (another one is detailed below) which was some nice mdb stuff.

As it stands no-intro (http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/tools.htm) have the best hash values (there were a few roms released with intros and crc32 matching the proper dump so something else was used) so I would go there (some of the other sites can get alterations a bit later or not at all). What you get names and numbers from is somewhat arbitrary (both the temp and advanscene have good ones for both for what it matters, pocketheaven, offline lists version and gbarl.it probably taking the other top spots overall.)

As I assume this is going to be used for some form of coding here is a quick sample of the ones from emuconnie ( http://www.freewebs.com/emuconnie/ ) to save a download:

PS most spreadsheet apps I have used (mainly excel and open office calc) have some decent sorting capabilities if order was a passing thought when the creator/updater was doing their work.

Checked out that list.. It is definitely good, only problem is, is that extra data such as languages, release group, etc. is not included.

Advanscene has a fairly decent list, but their box art is messed up, for example, they have game 0984 as Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, but the box for it at their site is Wolverine's Revenge. If you change the box image to 0999.jpg, then it'll be the proper one. *sigh* what a pain

i like no-intro lists as they are really dedicated to getting the proper information in there. mind you im only using their nds list. plus they also have lists for parent / clones which is great for merging archives.

I am not sure if I still have an older emuconnie list around (I will certainly try but I have a new computer since then)

Failing that offline list is OK, they abstract languages to numbers but that should not be difficult to work around:

Yeah, I took a peek. No worries regarding the numerical coding -- I deciphered it a couple days ago and have managed to read the XML completely.

Offline list follows pocketheaven numbering and clean dumps. It should be somewhat the same as the no-intro set since i try to follow them but i surely missed some propered release. My set is in 7zip, so i can't compare them (the softs used for no-intro dat don't support 7zip and i really don't feel like converting 10 gig of data).

If anyone finds errors or non-proper dumps in the offline list dat compared to no-intro, let me know.

Sorry to bump a very old thread but I've a related question and couldn't find anything with the search.

Currently I'm using OfflineList with the AdvaScene dat but I want to switch to the GBA list ... how do I do that?
