Legend of Zelda: Minnish Cap

Golden Sun is a close second, and all the SNES remakes are pretty good as well (esp. Link To The Past).


There is also a whole stack of other incredible games- the GBA had a great library.

"The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past" is the game I'm going to recommenced, I wouldn't say you have to be a Zelda fan to enjoy it, it's quite large for a GBA game, and will take awhile to finish, the story is quite involving and strange like Final Fantasy, but if your into that like I am, than you'll enjoy it. However, I don't recommenced it if you don't like RPG or Adventure games, also if you have a Wii, I would download the Virtual Console version rather than get the GBA version, only because it's in a higher resolution and the controls are slightly better.

Other games I would recommend are:

Final Fantasy V (or any of the others)
Metroid (maybe Zero mission first, to help you get into the series)
Zelda: The Minish Cap (a lot like Link To The Past, but a bit more simple, in fact if you can't get into the LTTP story, then play this)
Baldur's Gate (I never got around to playing the GameCube version, but I know this GBA version was pretty good)
Super Mario Advance 1-4(What can I say? There Mario, imo even though I like them all, I would say SMA2 Super Mario World is the best.

But like Rouge Trader said, the GBA had a great library, this is why Google is your friend.

I'm going with Syko to say that Final Fantasy 6 has a superior story over Goldensun. But I'm going with whats-his-face's opinion on Golden Sun being the best "Original" game on GBA.

All of GBA's best games are NES and SNES ports/remakes. But when it comes to a GBA original, Golden Sun is the best.

Golden Sun 1 and 2, Tekken GBA, all Metroid games, Reign of Fire (hard at first but it's pretty fun overall), Pokemon Fire Red, all Legend of Zelda games, DBZ: Legend of Goku 1 and 2, and finally DBZ: Buu's fury. All the best GBA games I have ever played, but if I had to pick one, it would be Golden Sun.

EDIT: Bahaha, I just remembered about the MMBN series. Really good games, but they get old after awhile, just like the Pokemon series.

Golden Sun and its sequel are the best original titles on GBA. As good as FF6 is (and yes it is one of the best games of all time), it's really just a rather basic port of an old SNES game. It's slightly inferior to the SNES version as well (music is a bit worse, some slowdown in battle and world map, and looks brighter to a fault). I would not count any of the NES/SNES ports to GBA in judging the best GBA games. It just isn't really fair to judge a system solely on its ability to play other system's games. And i'm sorry, but whoever says Golden Sun doesn't look good on GBA is just blind there...

There are a couple of remakes that are quite different, enough to warrant them being such a huge improvement over the original version that it's worth mentioning them on a list. I'd mention Metroid Zero Mission as one of those. It updates the first NES Metroid amazingly well IMO. I thought it was an amazing improvement and i barely recognized the original game in it.

i like KH:CoM so much.. i've beaten sora's story 3 times already but i haven't finished riku's yet.
