Homebrew Which games have Classic Controller hacks?

With all these controller codes there should be an app that patches games to add controller support lol

I know this is an old thread, but is there a tutorial for making these controller codes, changing the control scheme, or getting codes for other games?

I'm interested in this as well. The Wii version of RE4 is still my favorite, but using the Classic Controller maps the Gun and Knife buttons to L and R, rather than the more comfortable ZL and ZR triggers. It'd be a huge improvement if it were possible to swap those around.

Are these codes also compatible when playing the game from the original disc? Or only when loading .ISO's?

I am guessing you know this has finally been solved on the WiiU at least. Using VC inject you can swap the z/l z/r buttons on Wii games. Finally I am playing RE4 and No more Heroes 2 on the gamepad with trigger buttons mapped the best way.

Did anyone ever get the Kirby's Return to DreamLand codes working for gamecube controllers?

I found a reddit post that talks about what exactly the codes do (at least in Donkey Kong Country Returns[DKCR]): I pasted it below.

You're looking for something called button activators. Basically, a button activator is 4 digits within a code sequence, that does exactly what it says, it activates the button.

Here is the list of classic controller button activators:

Classic Controller Button Activator = 28200F0A 0000XXXX.
XXXX Values:
0001: Up DPAD.
0002: Left DPAD.
4000: Down DPAD.
8000: Right DPAD.
1000: Minus (Select)
0800: Home.
0400: Plus (Start)
0008: X.
0020: Y.
0040: B.
0010: A.
2000: L.
0080: ZL.
0200: R.
0004: ZR.

In your code, in the line that says "R" button, it ends in "0200". If you refer to the list above, "0200" is the code for R. So if instead you wanted to use X, you would change 0200 and make it 0008. If you wanted to make it "B" you would replace it with "0040".

Super simple stuff, but it can be confusing if you dont know what it all means.

My hope, though, is to find codes that allow me to use the analog stick instead of the D-pad in DKCR (which seems to be out of reach for now if this post is anything to go off of).

For those of you still interested in this, I wish I could say I've found more substantive progress. In fact, many of the links in my earlier "index" post seem to be dead now. And now GeckoCodes.org (and thus AccioHacks) is dead as well. Has anyone found a decent alternative?

Relatedly: there was a project to emulate Wii remotes, which I was very much hoping would be a solution for all games, but it appears to have stalled. (See also: the release thread). I'd like to hear if anyone has tried it in its current state, however.

Ok it is like waking up the dead now but, first of all good tutorial is needed. And if someone has a code for kirby epic yarn it would be a blast.

is there a way i can apply these codes to work with Wii U gamepad somehow? specificly kirbys dreamland, tides of destiny and new super mario bros

ive already achieved this with donkey kong return and super mario galaxy 2 which now work on gamepad can these games be done in a similar way if so any links to them? or if you can pm me the ISO with it already done that would be great
