Which flashcarts do you own?

Just wondering why you all have soooo many flashcarts? Cool collections though
We collect them because they're unique in their own mind, and we like to piece together its origins to document our findings so that future generations would certainly learn more about the hardware and software, the compatibility with homebrew and retail ROMs, what it offers for gameplay (real-time save, cheats, etc). And, if we don't, then DS modding wouldn't be as common today if it wasn't for smart folks like us. I only got into this game because of a neighbor who owned an R4 and my interest in console modding, and I started to pile up a collection once I had the opportunity to find good deals on market sites, such as eBay or Vinted (even AliExpress).

@Ghostx0

Finally found an MT-Card after it's been sitting on my watch list for a long time. It's been over two fuckin' years since I waited.

These are all the flashcarts I have, you can tell which one I use the most :P Everytime I hack someone's 3ds i'll give it a bigger sd card and keep the little 4gb one that came with it, they're perfect for ds flashcarts

also sorry to ask @SylverReZ but what kind of cart is that? Is it a 3ds flashcart?

3DS flashcart.

It's a clone of the Gateway 3DS, and you needed to install an exploit to use it. This was long before Sky3DS and Stargate fully replicated the same I/O as a retail game cart.

I see, thanks for the insight

There were two different versions of SuperPass: version 1 and version 2. Version 2 had the ability to upgrade its CPLD via the parallel port for different games, whereas the first version did not. Which version do you have?
not sure, i'd have to go up in the loft and find it first, maybe at the weekend when it's a bit warmer. when i find it i'll let you know, i know i bought it from the gbatemp shop, when they used to have a list of trusted resellers on here and a shop to buy them. those were the days

EZ Flash Parallel (unfortunately)
There's already a modification to fix the sleep mode by grounding the IRQ pin as it should. But the likelihood of those doing the modification would leave it as-is since it's not a popular flashcart compared to the cheap alternatives. I also have one, unfortunately, it's still in the box.

Everdrive GB Clone
Which EverDrive-GB clone? I presume it's the older models that it's based off. I have one which is the EDGB v1 clone labelled as "GAME Colour" and it's not by any means unbrickable. But hey, it's got OSV4 hacked to remove the 'anti-clone' checks, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I only added it for completeness.

I recommend supporting the creator and purchase an X7 if you can afford it; you have real-time-save and RTC for 2nd-gen Pokemon.

I plan on getting a DS pico but it's relatively low on my priority list

my phone is dead rn, so I can't currently post a picture to give a visual look at it, though i have the cart right here next to me and on the label it says
"one press to menu
GAME BOY GB
Rev C
PRO+
Low Power Consumption
OSV4"

I can edit the post later with a picture once my phone charges

I had went with this one because alot of the carts i looked into were either really pricey or you had to flash a rom onto
the cart which meant it could only hold 1

Flash2Advance
GB Bridge (adapter for F2A to play original GB games)
EFAII
EZflash 3-in-1
CycloDS
Original R4
One random ebay time bombed NDS carts

What reasonably priced GBA is to go to these days? I only have an original Flash2Advance and EFAII. Both of which are quite awkward to use these days

EZ flash omega using the simple kernel, that's the best you're gonna get at a low price

Thanks I have been looking at that. Was just hoping there was something newer or more obscure that was good and cheaper but had flown under the radar. I may just see if I can get what I have up and running on a VM.

you can apply some of this to the EZ flash AIR, as it's new and not much of it has been talked about after launch, though calling it good might be questionable right now, from what little i have seen as of recent, it still has some bugs to be ironed out
