Lol, section fail.

Anywho... *whistles*

Ah, my trusty DS Lite. Blue/Black. Faithful companion for those dreary Phases of Matter lectures (Chemistry, in my Physics degree? It's more likely than you'd think.), and any other time I can't be bothered working/sleeping.

Have a Red/Black DSL, Black DSi, and Brown DSi LL.

While the DSi LL is my favorite and the best one to actually use (due to the larger screens), my DSi actually sees the most use due to the fact that it is smaller and easier to carry about.

I had a launch DSphat until the black DSlite was released in America. Now I have the black DSlite.

Right forum fail.

I have a DS Phat, i'm the kind of person who won't buy a new one until it breaks (which almost happened since I spilt beer on the touch screen one day and it wouldn't work properly for a few weeks)

It's lasted well though, had it since it released in 2005 (well a month after it released ;P)

A black DSi. BTW, do white consoles finally get black or gray because of dirt? I'm SO obsessive about dirt that I use to wash my hands BEFORE I touch my DSi. So, I have a black DSi protected with a black cover (brand: Thrustmaster, something between metal and plastic).

Should I see a shrink?

I started with the classic grey DS phat, imported from Japan.
Then I got a white DS Lite, also imported from Japan. Around that time I sold off my old DS phat.
Eventually, that system got worn down, my old R4 would freeze often, the buttons getting unresponsive, and for Christmas I got a Silver DS Lite, loved it.
Finally, I got a Black DSi at launch, totally worth it.

Probably won't get a DSi XL, it's a very nice system but it's not portable and my DSi is still doing great, it's nearly a year old now.

These days, I play on my DSi, whilst my Silver DS Lite is still used for GBA games or trading pokémon across games. My White DS Lite has a Supercard Lite, which I use for dumping roms, running pokémon distros, or just as a cooking timer.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Sorry didnt read that part
