Hello!

Lately I have been feeling very disappointed with the amount of customisation that is (known to be) possible for the Home Menu. Although themes and modifying the Home Menu can give some interesting results there are still some things that I'd like to play around with. Namely:
  • Top screen animations by changing the movement provided in the default themes.
  • Bottom screen animations using top screen animation code
  • Running shader code on either screen for full custom animations. (Could citro3d assist with this?)
Since I have no experience looking at any of the files myself and have not found documentation detailing on how these animations could be developed - I'd be very thankful for information concerning the possibility of such modifications and if anyone has done similar work somewhere that I can have a look at.

Could anyone please help me out?

I for one have no idea what you mean by "movement".
The default themes of the 3ds have 64x64 images on the top screen that are continiously translated to the bottom right. These can be edited by for example the Kame Editor in the "Color"/"Color Texture" Draw type under Top Screen. I want to know if its possible to modify the path of the movement that happens there.
