well i dont personally use dpg tools
tongue.gif
i just download movies as a dpg format

Imtoo and xilisoft are both the same, I think people like them because they have smooth interfaces and make the process extremely simple with many different formats already supported.

Go download it and see for yourself, I liked it personally..

Really, nothing compares to Xillisoft and ImToo.

Here's what you forgot:

ImToo/ Xillisoft
Manual Conversion using Scripts with mplayer, python, menconder, dpgconv. and mpeg_stat for Linux
4Media (Same as ImToo and Xillisoft but less popular)
Wondershare

I used to use SUPER but the audio always desynched from the video so I gave it up and used the default DPGENC which comes with the MoonShell 2 package.

imTOO and Xilisoft are useful for larger files.
SUPER is useful for youtube clips.

dpgTools doesn't work for me at all.

I like the Media Convert site because my computer is slow so encoding a movie takes a long time, but if i use the site its very quick.
