Except that's not true.

The AceKard team was one of the first to release a fix for 1.4.1. If they "don't give a shiit for us players", they wouldn't have released a fix.
There has been fear and essentially threats of Normmatt leaving/stopping the AKAIO development of AKAIO which could put a damper on things, but based on the AceKard teams quick response to the DSi's 1.4.1 firmware update I would guess that they'd pick up updating of the official menu again.


The "point" of this topic is about the AceKard official menu, which AKAIO essentially fills that role. Why should the AceKard team attempt to compete against AKAIO for updates?
Now if this was about the AceKard team not adding much requested features (or at least offering a response as to why it wouldn't or couldn't be added) such as Real-Time Save and In-Game Cheats, then I would agree.

You're an idiot. Why would they want to waste their time releasing game fixes if it's recommended for everybody to use AKAIO, and everybody uses AKAIO anyways. There's no point. Acekard fixed 1.4.1 fw with a fix within a day.

WTF are you all talking about.

Normmatt, Smiths and the original Acekard team work very closely together. The Acekard team provide a lot of help with AP fixes and the like. Just because the work is being done in the background and out of site doesn't mean they are around sitting bone idle.

Now, can someone please close this thread before the development teams get really pissed and decide to fuck the lot of us?

Yeah why would you bother supporting your product. That's just such a crazy idea isn't it? I never said they should compete with Akaio I said they should work with the Akaio team to solve problems, fix bugs, add features. So yeah since they don't support their product they suck. They are just one of many cards the only thing that sets them apart from the DSTT is Akaio. So the Acekard is a run of the mill card and the team that supports it sucks but Akaio is really good.
