Loled. xD I was the one judging YOU. You cannot read it seems. Read my sentence. Repeat x200
The 3DS games are the absolute worst games to start with imo. But hey, not saying you're wrong. You're just in the minority. You guys are completely wrong.
I if was a new player I would definitely start with X and Y or OR/AS
The previous games are kind of dated and aren't really necessary to enjoy the franchise.

Oh, you mean the godlike new tech that doesn't even allow for 3D graphics unless you're in a battle, which then brings the game to a horribly low framerate?Yeah, I can see why some don't like them, but if you take a look at it they are essentially the same games with newer tech. There is no reason to not start with it.
Honestly, since making TM's reusable, they became less valuable. You can use them as many times as you want, taking out the element of planning (like using your zap cannon TM to teach your Rhydon so he doesn't get owned by water-types instead of giving your Pikachu yet another electric type move).

CRT has no input lag compared to LCD. That's a totally valid argument. That's why CRTs are used in fighting game tournaments.Your argument sounds like someone trying to defend CRT screens over LCD a while ago.
You don't even know how much I have judged both the games and the Pokémon designs. One more idiot spotted on this forum. Nice.
Do you even realize what you sound like?I have played every game. I have talked with looooots of Pokémon fans since 2007 on IRC. I haven't made a post "judging" anyone else apart from this guy. My original post in this thread was about the correct way, IMHO, to play the games.
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_National_Pokédex_numberWell I had a play of Fire Red and quite enjoyed it. I'm not entirely sure I understand the combat system. Am I just supposed to select the type of attack and see what happens?
Just learn as you play. That's how I did it (and I've gotten to top 50 on the OU ladder on PS!).Well I had a play of Fire Red and quite enjoyed it. I'm not entirely sure I understand the combat system. Am I just supposed to select the type of attack and see what happens?
I agree with you, though I suggest actually starting with Gold so that, later on, if you liked Gold, you can play Crystal and it'll be kinda like replaying the game, but there will also be differences that you will notice.Well, if you actually wanna enjoy it (knowing the first steps of this saga), I would start with Pokémon Crystal, in my opinion it was the best one released.
