Hacking When Is Akiao 1.8.2 expected to come out?

I've been having problems with Golden Sun so Ive been waiting for an update since it first came out. Any chance it';; come before new years?

Golden Sun works just fine for me with 1.8.1 and AAP enabled.

I've had no such luck. I've tried 3 different dumps with AAP enabled. Lolcatz, RobotKillers, and the EUR dump.

They have been on 1.8.2 beta 3 since Wednesday and Another World has started updating the gbatemp wiki adding changes that are in 1.8.2 in anticipation of its release so it should be soon. It is said that the AKAIO team likes to test features rigorously before releasing so while soon may be before New Years, that is only a guess.

Your SD card might be too slow

I would still try another microSD if i was you


Where could I get a cheap one? I'm out of state, that's why I've been hesitate to get another, I dunno the Florida area well.

Yeah I do, AAP Enabled and everything else is disabled.

Pick the option for all tests and if the last number is over ~8000 then you might have problems. There are many versions, revisions, and manufactures of that chip, though if it is authentic most should be good.

Eighteen played golden sun on 1.8.1, and with random freeses for a tiny bit.. after that me blew into the DS slow and on the Acekart golden thingies and in the slow of the acekart as well, plus on the bits of the SD card, after that everything ran fine without random freeses

Also 1.8.2 won't care what speed your memory card is if you want to wait. If you do want to buy a card, a fast one will decrease loading times, I've heard Transcend are among the fastest, but other people recommend Sandisk Ultra II and Kingston.
