My original favorite was Charmander. Based solely on its pokemon card, actually. I hardly ever watched the show.

and then my favorite became Raltz/Gardevoir.

Snorlax and Gardevoir are the bomb, mind I only use Snorlax as Gardevoir kinda sucks in battle

Need I say anything? :P

P.S. I'm not a "gen 5 youngster". I've been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue.

i didn't mean that you are one if you love gen 5, i like it too but people don't know the awesomeness of gen I anymore

also what are your favourite gens?
Hm, I'll say gen 3 and gen 4. Between the two of them, I liked Gen 3 more.

Love both of them, they were always my mains, and I'd trade them over in order to get them in a new game =D

I always thought squirtle was pretty badass, especially when he wore the glasses as part of the squirtle squad.

By your age 15, I was working 2 jobs, worked at a swimming pool concession stand, and washed cars on weekends. If you don't have drive to work, you won't get all the toys you want and dream about, only what mommy/daddy buys you. Nothing better to work and earn and save, then buy something yourself, it feels good when you do, and the bought item means so much more.
