Not to "nitpic" but whilst playing Zelda twilight princess again i discovered that there's a grey screen during loading times.... I never noticed it before but its really starting to bug me...

is it a problem with cios rev7 or has it always been around?

is there a way to get around it or shall i just uninstall the CIOS and play it from the disc channel ( i have a legit copy).

Hmm interesting... i assume its a backup your running. Is it "patched" or decrypted? are you running it from the loader or rebooter? Its possible if a backup its just because of the 3x read speed instead of 6x causing an extra pause allowing you to see the gray screen.

No, I'm running a Legit copy.

It's PAL and I'm running the game from the official disc channel, i guess that makes no difference as its still using the same CIOS right?

Thats strange actually. original disc should still run at full speed. are you running it after running a backup via the rebooter? do you have starfall installed, and if so what options are enabled? Have you altered any of your ios's (for example changing them to be cios rev 7 as per the recent thread)? Anything hooked into the gamecube ports? Other than that i cant think of anything that might be causing it.

@Xdqwerty, Do you want to change that? The fact that you hate yourself
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @_Ruri_, I guess
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@Xdqwerty, Honestly fuck 'em (people that were angry at you), it sounds kinda harsh and I do kinda get when they came from but letting people influence you this much ain't worth it

@_Ruri_, I have to hear what the others say, it's called feedback
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@Xdqwerty, Then if you truly want to change then thinking about dumb stuff people say isn't really going to help you feel better. The change comes when you find the will to change yourself, and that's something only you can do

@_Ruri_, the only way I can change would through either a lobotomy or amnesia
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
That doesn't mean you listen to everyone's feedback at heart especially on the internet imagine youtube creators if they responded to every bad comment they'd get even more hate for it

  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@Xdqwerty, Feedback is really important. Getting stuck in your own thoughts too much is unhealthy too. There's a limit though imho. Feedback should be something healthy, if it's giving more harm than good than you should tone down how much you think about other people

@mthrnite, Damn, sorry you went through all this. I'm glad I at least had my mother supporting me, so there's that. As long as it helped you feel better who cares lol

we play the hand we're dealt Ruri. A rough childhood is just starting stats. Lotta people get a bad roll.

@Xdqwerty, I know those are just words and I know how useless those are unfortunately. What changed things for me is realizing that I didn't want to suffer anymore. I usually don't like giving advice like this because I don't wanna sound like one of those judgemental people that spout random stuff, and I know I'm sounding like one so least I can say is sorry lol
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@mthrnite, Yeah, agree. Just because you were dealt a bad hand it doesn't mean that you will still be stuck with that. It absolutely is not easy lol but with a lot, a loot of grinding it can be done imho

@_Ruri_, btw to brighten up the mood I wanna bring up a fun fact by saying that fma Brotherhood got 2 latín spanish dubs, one made here in Venezuela and other one made in México although keeping Ed and Al's actors https://youtu.be/yqtP8laNhAY?si=fulesk8H8BrRg_Xq
