Hykem's documented all(?) of the IOSU syscalls here http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/IOSU_Syscalls and naehrwert has an IOSU exploit in the works compatible with 5.2.0 and below.
What's a iousu????
The secondary OS running on the Wii U's ARM processor. It handles a lot of title security and hardware access, and exploiting it would give us control over several areas we don't currently have.
The firmware on the Wii U.
I am below that thankfully,I was going to buy mario party to update to 5.3.2 but you just saved me. Would you advice me to wait until IOSU or should I update to 5.3.2
Wait until IOSU what? IOSU is not the interface you use when you turn on the Wii U, that's the System Menu. I don't know how many IOSU's exist at the moment, but if they use the same method they did on the Wii's IOS, then there should be more than one.
Obviously I am talking about a custom IOSU that a coder/developer is supposedly working on.
I wasn't aware of that.
No custom IOSU is being worked on currently; an exploit in IOSU to gain control of the ARM is being worked on.
