This is one occasion where I would suggest doing your own research. Look at the forums for those emulators and see what they require, what the recommended specs/models are. Then look at the tablets I've suggested and seeing what their specs are. That way you can compare and get a good estimation on how well it will perform with your specifically desired app.

In short, use my recommendations as a basis to educate yourself and become more knowledgable on tablet specs and emulators, rather than expecting us to spoon feed you and hold your hand every step of the way.

...Of course I say this out of love, because every now and again when you post on a forum asking for information, you'll get a troll feeding you misinformation and laughing because you blindly believed what they said and ended up purchasing an unsuitable product.

Samsung latest tablets for easier installation of emulators. Or you could just buy a phablet (e.g. Note 8)

a mini-ITX build would be neat, there's a lot of cool cases you can get with that form factor
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
so either 12 series or 14 i9, non-ASsUS board, likely Arc B570, and other misc parts

  • UltraHurricane @ UltraHurricane:
having a full-size tower use to be the hottest shit in the 00's/2010's, but i don't think that's the case anymore considering how much pc hardware has stagnated in terms of raw power
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
that's the last time i had one - storm knocked it the fuck out and i kinda went towards console peasantry to NOT have to get GPUs every quarter lmao
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
    PS360 days were glorious
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
and then came 2017 - tater laptop was lagging behind larger raw files, and MonHun World was coming out
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
soon as Cap announced it FINALLY coming to PC - i started hunting for upgrades
  • UltraHurricane @ UltraHurricane:
tbh there hasn't been meaningful upgrade of graphics power since the RTX 3000 series, they've been substituting raw power with AI shit these days :/
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
got a ROG pos with 1060 that was a literally hot pile of shit, returned that thing, hunted a bit more and found my Micro Center re-badged and shittier-mobo'd Clevo with 1070 for joke of $1200
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
    yep.....
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:

  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
otherwise I wanted the 2070 or so with 12gb
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
basically whatever is closer to $200 and at least 8gb or better with stupid-fuck DLSS support since games now DEMAND it or won't run
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
    like new Indy Jones
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
i turn all that shit off anyway, but when it refuses to launch....
  • UltraHurricane @ UltraHurricane:
sadly, i don't think you can find anything good for $200, unless you're REALLY lucky on ebay or fb marketplace
  • Skv0ra @ Skv0ra:
    well, like 2070
    Skv0ra @ Skv0ra: well, like 2070
