I love the fact that my psp is so light and easy to transport everywhere and provide me hours of fun playing or watching a movie, and i love the fact that, the psp has a pretty good selection and diversity of games, what i hate, is that i am extremly picky with my psp, and hate it getting dirty

i wash my hands more now per day, than i ever did before, i also dislike that the batery only lasts from 3-5h its probably alot for most people but its still a bit lacking for me since the ideal for me would be at least 6-7h of batery, now what is it that you love and hate the most in your psp ?

I love my battery life, it seems to last a very long time even when running emulators. I also love emulators, and movie viewing. I hate how PSP can't use a basic SD card, I also hate that my PSP needs to be modded just to have fast internet browser... But it's modded and it's fast.

Enter your router and change the security type to WEP. WEP is not that great of a security, but it works with everything.

Love:

- PSX support
- GBA emulator which is perfect. I just can't be improved for the games I play.
- So much more power and homebrew capabilities than the DS
- Movies!
- Much more user friendly than the DS Lite. Things like native support for MP3, JPG, videos and a built in webbrowser really make this a very good device.
- Quite easy to hack
- Cheap to get now and cheap to pirate (memory stick and you're all set)

Hate:

- Battery life, although this isn't even that bad as expected
- Loading times in some PSP games
- Analog nub

- Hackability
- Library
- Monster Hunter and Dissidia

Hate:

- Too many revisions
- I don't have one

love:
computing power, can emulate almost everything till ps1/gba
interface, how the different functionality are integrated
multimedia

stuck between the two:
analog stick ( I mean yay A.stick, it makes character control in 3d games so much easier, especially with the d-pad design of the psp, but then why not 2 A.stick. The A.stick feeling isn't perfect)

hate:
ms pro duo
glossy faceplate (psp1000: finger print whore, looks disgusting after a while, reflection sometimes distract from game)
glossy screen ( cause eye strain, sometimes it's a pain to find the perfect angle to play without reflection, ridiculously easy to scratch)
slow wifi, not compatible with common encryption (wpa2)
limited movie format support
D-pad (I wished they used a 8 way d-pad)
how Sony is acting like a D**** about homebrew scene and then integrate some ideas coming from there in a future ofw release and steals the credits.

Like:
-Homebrew
-Available games
-Battery life (13 hours!)
-Very easy to hack

Hate:
-The analog stick. It just feels awkward.
-Wifi is terrible.
-It's huge. (Mainly because the battery I'm using adds another 1.4cm in thickness)
-I can't use my 16GB SD.

that's not always possible,
sky broadband in the u.k. are a good example.
the routers they use are locked down tighter than palastine!
(you arent givern the admin name/password, they reflash remotely a lot, and if you break into it they can - and have cancelled peoples service!)

+ multimedia potential: excellent for animes/series/movies
+ emulation potential: 95% psx compatibility, good Snes compatibility (that's quite a feat), etc...
+ solid building

- slow wi-fi (and a bit hard to conect in some places)
- limited wi-fi multiplayer (almost no games that you can play online w/o xlink kai)
- lack of a second analog (i.e. the main reason for me to want a psvita)

what i like about my psp is, it has a great mp3 and movie player. What i don't like about my psp is after i use it for a few hours, my eyes start to hurt. I haven't had that issue with my nintendo ds lite though, and i don't know why this happens, maybe its because psp has very high resolution? I dunno.

Hate
Battery life (shit can't last long before needing to be charged up again)
Wifi (needs to support online play without adhoc party, xlink kai and all that)

Love
Games (self-explanatory)
Emulation (GBA/SNES/PSX emulation = instant win for me)
Analog nub (duh, smooth controls ftw)
Powerful and portable (can run great games with good graphics smoothly on the go)
Easy to hack (doesn't need external hardware like flashcarts for the DS)

How many games qualifies as a decent library, would it suddenly be a better console if it was made by Amstrad, and what's wrong with the Wifi and the internet? In my experience the Wifi is better than the DS.

I know it is. It is just my PSP is always giving me problems with wi-fi and is very slow. The "Sony" point was a joke. Geez.
