What would you say is the ideal file system for the Wii?

    What would you say is the most useful file system for accessing a HDD with the Wii (via apps such as emulators and Mplayer?)

    Fat32. NTFS is not supported yet as far as i'm aware.

    geexbox can read ntfs but thats the only program so fat32 is the best choice

    Fat32 as its more common place on the wii.

    FAT32 is the only file system supported by most homebrew applications. It's also the "better" file system for this (less overhead, slightly faster) unless you want to deal files bigger than 4GB, which FAT32 does not support.
