What to do on a first first date?

Anywhere you can talk a lot really. As someone else said don't go to see a movie, that's more of a second or third date kinda thing (at least the way I see it)

The main issue is awkward silences, just try to think of things to ask when that happens in advance because you can never quite seem to think of anything at the time. People find it easy to talk about themselves when asked. Try not to ask questions you can't answer yourself (for whatever reason) as they will almost certainly ask you the same thing.

Now, I never even considered awkward silences happening on my first date (at a cafe when I was 12) and they did happen but it never ruined it, it actually went well. It was her first date as well although she was a year older. Keep in mind the other person is probably just as nervous.

And a kiss is enough at the end, don't even try anything more than that. Even if you are of age.

This is why roller skating is perfect.
You'll be busy talking about how hard it is to roller skate(unless you're a frequent roller skater)and losing balance and other stuff like that,also there will probably be a decent amount of physical contact so you'll be able to gauge her attraction.
Theres also probably going to be music playing which is also a great thing to talk about.

Chat with each other until you find a common interest. From there on out, it should be pretty easy to not mess up. (Dont assume girls hate video games/computers/geeky tech speak, it's a terrible stereotype)

Don't ask loads of questions, it'll turn into an interview. And don't try to be a "good listener". If you like talking, talk. It's a lot more comfortable than not talking because you don't want to seem self obsessed or anything. Try and make the conversation about what's going on, not your pasts. Or if you ask, don't ask about jobs or school or whatever it is, ask about what she /likes/ to do, not about what she /has/ to do.
