They made an expansion to the 3DS, an extra analog stick with external L and R buttons all powered by an AAA battery for around $20 - $25.
That's what this entire thread is about.

that's exactly what they did. That's what this entire thread is about.

How they should have just added that all to the original.
I happen to agree that the 3DS doesn't need a new circle pad. It has a touch screen. Plus, I'm fine with using another button to use the circle pad to control a camera.
noway looks uglyPersonally I think it should look like this.

i completely agree! i mean sure it would have been nice if it had it from the start, but in all honesty i dont believe for a second that if it did have it from the start that it would have sold any better.

and your right that does look ugly!
the circle pads are a bit off.I like this quick design I made. It's a 3DS with an extra circle pad in case you slide off the first one. Hopefully Nintendo looks at this.
I didn't see ugly nor attractiveness...noway looks ugly
No..., you aren'tI guess I'm the only one who thinks this... but I think the 3DS is perfect how it is, and doesn't need any unnecessary add-ons.
...the 3ds needs to be larger, much larger. Not only children play 3ds and not everyone has normal sized hands. Video games weren't meant to be portable and if they are don't people carry backpacks or purses? and another analog stick would be pointless because of the touch screen and gyro

R2 and L2 will make the 3DS able to play any n64 game without missing buttons. That second analog stick addon not only makes your 3DS ugly, but why in the world would you need it? I can't think of any use to it.

It doesn't. You use something like this:When did the 3DS get a N64 cartridge slot?
