Hacking What should I avoid touching on the MOBO of the DS lite?

I am going to ground myself with a strap but just to be sure, what should I avoid handling and touching? Should I just hold the corners of the MOBO or what?

yeah, mostly corners - it does not break that easily, mine is not handled with ALL that care and still works.

You also need to remove the wifi chip.

as long as your hands are not wet, greasy nor charged with static discharge - you are fine, and hold mostly the sides, yes.

As long as you're careful, there's no harm in holding it if you do what JereTHEend said (dry hands, no static etc).

I took my DS apart twice now, 1 for top screen and case replacement, 2nd for touch screen replacment and never had to remove the wifi/bios chip, just the antenna that plugs into it.
