What is wrong?
It is fake, it is piracy.
If you paid for something legit, it is very wrong.
If you paid knowing it was fake, it is alright you pirate.

I don't know what do you expect to be wrong?

A lot of bootlegs suffer from build quality or use poor quality rewritable memory for saves. If you've found a good knockoff and you're not concerned about the legality of it, go for it. At this point, even some legit GBA cartridges are having save issues, and the developers aren't going to be making money off of 10+ year old used games, so it just comes down to morals and quality.

I prefer legit cartridges myself. I back them up, then play the games on my EZ4. Though, I like to have a licensed copy for the long term archival purposes.

I hear certain Pokemon bootlegs don't work properly, like RTC issues, and not saving properly, which can be VERY annoying.
I know this feeling all too well. I had a bootleg copy of fire red which erased my save out of nowhere. Oh BOY was I pissed!

Getting banned from a Switch ain't a big deal... But when it happens, THAT is when you should do the chargeback for when you bought the system. Use it to buy a new one.
